Can anyone tell me how I know what Pyronix Key Forb I have pls

Hi,

I keep buying batteries for me forb but none of them fit. I am starting to think there must be many different versions. However my forb doesn't have any distinguishing marks, even when I open the flap at the back to replace the battery.

Are there different version? If so how do you tell what you have?

Have you still got the original battery?
A photo of that, and the battery compartment of the fob, may help us identify it?

Mk 1 keyfob ….short fat buttons in 2 x 2 formation
Mk2 keyfob long …buttons in line , no battery cover on back
Mk3 keyfob long as above , with battery cover

mk1 and mk3 same battery
Mk 2 battery has lugs on side ( expensive )

Sparkynmarka Ah, mine is the mark 3. I was wondering what the lugs were for on the batteries I kept getting online.

Rip the lugs off the batteries that you have then you have spares.
