Can I plug my oven and gas hob into the single socket?

Ok, then I think it should have come with a (moulded) plug.


Anyway that is only just under 10A so you could have both in one socket.

I suppose I should say it is not really recommended to have two cables in one plug but if you do it very carefully then it will be alright.

No, the kWh figure is what they call the maximum energy consumption.

I.e. (I think) it will cost 0.79 units per hour to run.

In that case, you could change the single socket for a double,and plug one in each.

Appreciate the help here guys thanks. I think the do not plug on the oven is a bit misleading considering the specs
