I'm replacing my current Kensington 100E farmhouse style electric oven rated at 14.5kW with a double oven and induction hob rated at 6300W and 7200W respectively.

Currently the oven is fed from a 45A mcb in to a 45A dual cooker connection unit + socket. Can I take 2 feeds from this unit or do I need to run a seperate supply to the hob?

As I've had no issue with the current set up which is 1kW higher load I'm assuming all is good?

Running a new cable is a big job.

Thank you

Yes you can connect them both via a duel outlet plate.

A 32 amp mcb would have been fine, im assuming 6mm cable?....but you've got a 45 amp so thats ok.
