Can You Remove A Control Panel Without The Tamper Going Off?

I have a Gardtec 800 Series LCD Control panel in my bedroom.

The room is being plastered soon and the control panel ideally needs removing,is there a way to do this without the tamper thing going off at all?

simple answer is no,

remove the cover from the main control box
enter your code to shut the noise up!
remove the + and - connections for the remote keypad, the one you want to remove
remove the keypad from the first floor
put the keypad back together
put the cover back on the main control box
reset your system

this SHOULD do it, but before you do anything DISCONNECT THE MAINS SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN BOX

and i hope that your system is not connected to an alarm receiving centre, if it is, you WILL have to contact the installer!!
