I have always lived in NE England.Went to comp school.I am 57.No blacks in our school ...1 out of 300 in Electrical eng at Uni...I am not racist.see everyone as equal.

Gammons aren't a race boyo. They are only in Gammon mode when they are angry.
Not the way you use the term....You do not mean ""angry"" when you call people Gammon. Not sure what point you are making constantly calling people gammon but it is not anger related.

Patrick, i said the one in the purple shirt
My local Costa employs a black guy....I enquired about how he was to a colleague, could not remember his name,,,could not bring myself to say ""the black guy""""..Would that have been racist??

Thanks for sharing that with us, sxturbo.
Do you not think it strange that anyone would feel the need to recant one experience, one incidence, to demonstrate that they are not racist?
Structural inequality and institutional racism does not have individual actors. It is the culture, the prevalence of incidents with the refusal to address those issues, and the denial of such incidences that prevent the acknowledgement of such issues.
Boris Johnson says we must do more to combat racism, and he has commissioned a report (another in a long line of reports). Let's see if this one gets buried along with the others.

Meanwhile thousands of football hooligans, and far right supporters march, looking for violent confrontations.

no,

i was not re-counting any experience to prove i am not racist (why would i need to do that? i don't need to prove anything to you or anyone else), i was recounting it due to what this discussion is about (or have i misread the previous 3 pages?), there is many more instances i could write about however i was referring to my most recent experience.

in regards to the protests at the weekend, there was very little violence it was a "largely peaceful protest" , it was no worse than the BLM protests and this thread is not about that.

Dazzler seems to find offence and racism all around
