Car port conversion lighting wiring.

The old car port had a single twin and copper supply running out to the exterior ceiling light, operated by a switch just inside the back door so that visitors could see their way out at night.

Could three more in-line lights be added to this, now that the car port is a room inside the house, a single ceiling light just isn't going to suffice.

That conversion required Building Regulations approval, so assuming you did apply for that, what did you tell Building Control, or by default allow them to assume, would be the way that you would ensure the electrical work would comply with Part P?

What sort of roof have you got? Where will/can cables run in it without contravening Parts C or L? What sort of lights are you planning to have?
