Cash or culture?

Whenever I dealt with a barterer, I’d barter upwards. “How much.” “£100”. "I’ll give you £90”. "£110" "Okay, £100”. "Plus tip".

I had an accountant the other week try knocking me down from £130 to £115 on a job i priced from a couple of photos and a bit of information.

I never replied.

Few weeks later he gets back to me and asks for a date.
Expecting it to be £115
He would supply the designer Radiator (£55) from the net.


He then wants me to supply the designer as well.


The radiator would have cost me £180 I quoted him £220 for the radiator.
