CCTV/Camera for 240v

So I have a 240v electric feed going to this box on the rear of my property.
I’d like to install a camera so I thought I could hook it up to this... what’s the easiest way? Most CCTV camera seems to be 12v or battery powered.

Where does the 240v feed come from (ring final, lighting circuit, own MCB)? What is in the box? Is there room for a 12v DC power inside?

It come from a fused spur in the kitchen (which also feeds the garage), it is all part of the ground floor MCB. I guess there is room for a transformer...

There are IP boxes that will hold sockets and plug in transformers. They aren't pretty and you'd need to know what you are doing.

1.5A and 3A are also available.

By the time you've bought a separate power supply, socket, weatherproof box, glands etc you'd probably end up about the same price.

Many of the older style external camera housings are designed for a direct 230v supply and contain a small heater to stop the glass fogging up, and also a step down transformer to supply a 12/24v camera.

Also traditional style cameras are still available with a direct 230v connection as standard.

The Netatmo Outdoor Camera uses a 240v feed but as with the Ring one mentioned above it isn’t particularly cheap, I got one for around £160 in the Black Friday sales a couple of years ago.
