I have a UK step down transformer that came with an IP camera.
What I want to do is connect this IP camera up to a euro plug and run it along an extension.
Is it possible to take these apart and do that? I know I could just get one of those UK to euro plug converters but this all needs to go in an external water/weatherproof box as it will be installed externally so, I don't think there'll be enough space to house the plug+converter.

No, do not take that plug apart. It may well be sealed for life and filled with resin.

Read the camera specs and obtain a power supply suitable for the camera with a euro plug on it. You should be able to find one on ebay, or from a european equivalent of Maplin.

OR get a lead with a schuko plug on one end and a 13 amp outlet on the other. Rough though.

Why are you wanting to use euro plugs?
What sort of plug is on the end of the adaptor?
