US welfare standards are far lower than the UKs -and if the UK accept a lower standard as part of a trade deal package then we are in a situation where either the UK farmers cant compete on production costs, or the UK standards will drop down to the US standards.

Its also interesting the the report rather shows that the EU is democratic, so you are rather arguing against your own ideals
