Choosing New Laptop

Bummer.

Well, the thot plickens.

I've just gone to PCW to look at ordering a -9LU. It turns out there's only a few left in the country, with the nearest to me 111 miles away...

Good tip though from PCW, if any DSG product has a price ending in .97, it's an end of line model.

They did recommend this instead:

I don't know what to do now!

Do I go to this store and get the £320 laptop (Which will actually be more expensive once diesel is taken into account!),

Or do get the one recommended, which is similar to the Argos one, but smaller RAM,

Or do I get the Argos one,

Or do I get the one that was orginally recommended by the reviews?

I thought it was going to be easy having narrowed it down to one manufacturer!

Thank you, but alas, no good.

Mrs Secure bought the G570 4334-9LU in the end, from PC World on Saturday.

So no cash back then...

She's not opened it yet, but on the box it says "UK", so I guess it is not US stock.

Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.

Bad Mrs Secure. Bad.

Bad as in bad choice of retailer, not bad choice of kit, I hope?

Yeah, you're not wrong.

Mrs Secure paid £30 for them to set it up. When we got it home it was not set up at all.

She took it back and they promised everything was set up as we ordered.

When we got it home, they'd only done one of the jobs....

So, if you're reading this PCW, your set-up service is woefully inadequate and we want our £30 back, please.
