Took the saw blade out of my chop saw, it's a B&Q Performance Power one and jolly good too, to get it sharpened. Only cost six quid so a bargain. Now got the blade back and not sure which way round the blade goes. Since the whole saw's in a hundred bits to get the blade out I can't just switch it on to check.

So looking from the left, i.e. the non motor side, does the blade revolve clockwise or anti?

Blade rotates to cut down onto timber, so clockwise, or a blunt blade would throw the timber out at you.Removal normally only required removal of locking nut and blade should drop free.
