Combi Boiler - Water Tank

Had a customer a while ago who woke up and went for a wee, only to find a rat swimming in the can.
Don't think it will be that bad in your case. :D

if your hot water has diminished ( you say it used to be ok ) it may well be a choked inlet filter or a choked flow restrictor

is it a vokera compact or sabre compact?

if you have boilers manufacturers instructions it will tell you how to replace the flow regulator in the combi.
do not replace, take it out and lob in bin.
this is not a filter its designed so you dont have to regulate water flow rate.

check some other postings re vokera/hot water

have done dozens of these it should take you about half an hour tops

best of luck brother

cheers pal,

im pretty handy so i will give it a shot after i do some further reading.

Hopefully this will solve it

thanks again

The boiler never reads more than 1 bar of pressure, my British Gas engineer says 1 bar is enough pressure to supply the boiler. Everytime I turn on the hot water tap very little sometimes no water comes out.

The gauge on the front of the boiler reads pressure in the sealed CH loop, it has nothing to do with the pressure of the incoming mains water.
