Back again,does the regs say that you have to fit a condensing boiler or is this just for certain areas?jeff oh yeh nearly forgot whats a good price to pay for a vokera combi and can anybody recommend a particular model?thanks jeff.

The requirement for condensing boilers applies to Dorset!

There are quite a few different condensing Vokera boilers!

As of the 01/04/05 ,all new boiler installations, must comply with current regulations.This means that all boilers,unless they fulfill an excemption, are to be high efficiency condensing boilers.Also upon installation ,the localcouncil building control officer must be informed of the installation, also job to be registered with corgi,so as to ensure that the customer recieves a certificate of compliance.This is to comply with the new rules soon to be in force.In otherwords ,if you do not comply to the previous wording you and your installer are breaking the law .Tough,I know,but all corgi guys have to follow them.

So does everybody else! Of course there are NO people installing non-condensers outside the regs :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:
