Come On England

I think I would prefer to win the cup and sell them the Falklands while the price is still good

Yes it's easy to say with hindsight, but as many are highlighting, why the feck did they go defensive with so much time left to play? I don't get it.

There was a lesser team earlier in the tournament who were at risk of going out if they didn't win their game. They attacked and were full on for the entire game. tbh can't recall if they won or not, but they certainly put their all into it.

What I will say is this, although of little solace I appreciate. Well done on getting to the semis, something my country can only dream of.

I was totally puzzled at the time the change was made. I will never understand that decision.

I am at work now trying to hold myself together. I am bitterly disappointed in the managers decision but very proud of what the team did to lift the country during this tournament. Bad management decision

A guy on the telly box has just said he can understand Tuchel's strategic decisions as the players were already falling back, whether due to heat or fatigue or whatever. So the manger decided to bolster defence.

But surely in that scenario, given it's a do or die match, Tuchel should have been maintaining or bolstering their attack and putting a proverbial firework up their ar5es to drive them forward?

I know little about football, however that's my take on it.

And next time, we will put a quick bloke up front as our "out ball".
Which will be too late, it course.

All of our opponents know this already, and will be planning to defeat that tactic too.

Put your house on it (y)

Obviously all English fans want Spain to win now.

I’ll back Argentina though

Spain are 5/4 that’s fairly generous imho
