Thinking about it you could be right. Thinking about so-called comedians, when an Irish/Scottish/Canadain so-called joker comes on stage he/she always talks
about their country of orgin in not appearing on stage in that country.

Women jokers that come on stage have to make, carry on making jokes about women.

I guess it is what it is.

Jewish comedians can make a career out of just being jewish and telling jewish jokes, Irish comedians tell irish jokes, black comedians can use the N. word.
Its the same as you can criticise members of your own family but if outsiders do it, you are offended.

Marti Caine was a great stand-up comedian, but apart from her I cannot think of any other good female stand-ups. There have been many great comedy actresses though; many in sketch shows and some in ventriloquism.

Rosie is on telly because she is disabled, not because she is funny. Part of the BBC's diversity quota.

I thought Rosie was mainly on C4

When a black comedian comes on stage he / she has to go on about race or the colour of their skin.... why?

Why can't they just be funny.... some comedians are just not funny...... but try just make us laugh... that is what a comedian is there to do.

I've seen plenty that don't do that. Maybe you need to watch more?

Some comedians are cleverer than others but then how do you define clever. Jo Brand has made a career out of three jokes; all men are barstewards, who ate all the pies and I'm a fat cow. Not funny but clever.

I never found him funny as all i could see was spit out of his mouth and it looked as though he had no teeth - not for meet.

Frankie howard was funny along with the few i mentioned as was russ about i think he too passed away.

that chap that was suppoed to bitten of a rats head was funny at times and jim davaidson but more funny in the sit coms
