Commercial gas engineer Derby area

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a gas engineer with a commercial ticket in the Derby area. What it is is the gas oven in the nursing home where I work keeps going out. (a Blue Seal 6 burner with oven jobbie) I'd hazard a guess at it being the thermocouple, but I've told my manager I wouldn't even consider touching it myself. Up to now, I've phoned about a dozen gassafe reg plumbers/engineers, only to be told that they don't have a commercial ticket. We did used to have a gas engineer come and do the yearly test, and service of every gas appliance, but he's let his commercial ticket lapse and can't now do it. I only need someone to have a look and fix the damn oven.
Anyone know of anyone/company in the Derby area, please let me know or PM me.
Cheers JJ

Know a company in notts. ;)
Numbers in my profile.

It is very unfortunate but this is becoming an increasing problem, with the cost of COMCAT ACS and all the other costs involved repairing or servicing comm catering appliances is becoming a specialist category and with some owners preferring to use unqualified engineers it is proving not to be worthwhile for most of us

So who is doing an annual inspection and servicing?

Dont the premises need an annual safety Certificate for inmate and staff safety and insurance purposes?

Or does it not important because they have dementure?

Where does it mention dementure tony.....or is that what you struggle with.

I reckon the pair of you have 'dementia'.

The chap who done last years annual safety certificate, has since allowed his commercial ticket to lapse. He said for the amount of commercial work he did, it just wasn't worth paying for the ticket. Now we'll be needing someone with the commercial ticket for this years (due June) BTW, most of our residents do suffer from dementia (to varying degrees, but the end result is always the same) Safety is just as important in our place as any other workplace (specially where gas is concerned) Residents don't have access to anything operated by gas (you'd be surprised how many people with dementia/alzheimers, living at home, turn on gas without lighting it, then forget turning it on     )

Anyway, I've had a look on the gas safe website and have found quite a few commercial ticketed engineers in our area.
Cheers for all the advice chaps. Much appreciated. ;) ;) ;)

Lee might like the opportunity to quote!

I waas going to say something else but its escaped my mind!
