Compression fit waste

Hi, I'm going to use a McAlpine Q10 compression fit bath trap.

As it's compression fit and not solvent or push fit, will the compression fit into either push or solvent pipe?

Where does your bath waste run? If it runs into a soil stack, you shouldn't be using a shallow bath trap like the the Q10. These are only to be used where the bath waste runs to a gulley. See it done wrong loads of time and it often results in loss of trap seal and foul smells in the bathroom.

Hi, it does run into a gulley, but however, the bath is so deep that there literally is JUST enough room for a Q10.

Don't worry, use a shallow bath trap, it will be fine
