what a joke once again the only interest from contractors is making money
at other peoples expense.
all the cleaners where on slave labour wage and guess what the contractors are making a killing in more sense than one
initial should be shamed.

It's a strange world we live in with this contract cleaner/security etc scenario. The company pay the contractor £12-£18 p.h. they pay their staff minmum wage, £5.50 or whatever it is and get a less than satisfactory job.

When will these people wake up and see that if they employ staff direct, they can up the pay rate to say £8 p.h and get a better job because people will take more pride in their work, they won't be leaving every few weeks and they won't cut corners. At the end of the day the employment cost to the company with overheads is about the same. We always feel we get a better deal because they are contract staff.
