Cooker socket

Hi. New to this forum.
Got fault with my cooker socket. Light's on my cooker and extractor hood start to flicker then cooker and hood go off.if I turn socket switch off then back on they come back on.also if I tap the socket while they are both on the lights start flickering and they go off again. Could this just be a loose wire i n socket or could socket be faulty.New oven fitted 6mnth ago by sparky.

If all the screws are tight, just change the socket. Even new parts or relatively new parts can be faulty, the joys of junk from China.
