One of labour front bench spotted yesterday with a copy of the communist paper 'the morning star' on his lap -whilst Corbyn was refusing to condemn Russia.

He.He. Looks like this has been correct this morning by Labour's shadow defence secetary.

Apparently, the Labour party supports the Government's findings and action, and it's just Corbyn that does not.

In support of Corbyn, although I am no fan of his, there are clear laid down procedures for dealing with such an incident as this. All Corbyn was asking for, is that the government follow those procedures rather than jumping the gun.
If you are claiming the moral high ground you ought to follow the internationally laid down procedures.

Is it an attempt by TM to create an external threat so that 'the country' unites behind her, with her facing parliamentary, and potentially electoral defeat?

Perhaps this is all part of Putin strategy. He wants a response and then the UK (which I highly doubt) to to crack down on the Russian oligarchs assets in London - some who are antagonistic to Putin, so he gets the UK to do is dirty work.
