Corgi Homeplan plan,alternative to BG service plans.

Hi,has anyone singed up with the corgi homeplan service ?.

I am looking for an alternative service plan,present company has let me down in respect of not being able to repair a 6 year old boiler which bears their company name, but happy to sell me a new boiler !.

Best bet is to go to the manufacturers of the boiler and take out cover with them if insurance is what you want, make sure it includes an annual service, most manufacturers offer this service (sometimes underwritten by corgi/homeserve/whoever) but at least they will know how to fix it.

Insurance plans are a waste of money, just pay a local engineer as and when you need him - it'll save you money in the long run and you'll get a more personal service

James if you are referring to Bg as the installer and the boiler is 6 years old and beyond economic repair then your cover entitles you to a no cost replacement.
