Could there be a vote of confidence on Wednesday ? 15% threshold reached now

More conservative MP's voted for him tonight than voted for him to become their leader.
Just 160 conservative MP's voted for him to become their leader in the 2019 leadership race.

211 voted for him to remain their leader today.

That’s an increase in their confidence for him to lead the party amongst conservative MP's isn’t it?

40% refusal is pretty poor for a confidence vote. It isn't the worst result for Boris but it isn't good.

Irrelevant analogy. He's had a crack at the whip and they still want him gone. Lots of them. Its a disaster for Boz. Dead man walking.

Ive just heard on Sky, Johnson got less votes from the parliamentary Tory party today than his leadership contest.

So you are wrong….as usual

No. Its a crap analogy. Their disdain for Boris has multiplied. Their was no multiple choice. It was a binary decision.

You can’t ignore the facts no matter how unpalatable they are to you.

You, Notch and JohnD had better take that champagne off ice. Again.

"As a percentage, more MPs voted against Boris than Margaret Thatcher, Theresa May and John Major..."

A more realistic comparison.
