The U.K has 600,000 usual deaths per year therefore even 50,000 covid19 deaths is 8% more.

No one is saying that covid19 does not exist; just that it does not warrant these scare tactics and the trashing of the economy. It is difficult to imagine that capitalists care that much about the population to trash the economy just to save a few lives.
It is worth noting that a pandemic has been forecast for a few years - but not that many - very astute.

Therefore the objective must have been to trash the economy and use a pandemic as an excuse.

I think most people realise that there's little truly that will stop this virus, other than medication, a vaccine, immunity or a full lockdown with 100% of people staying in (never happen).

But what they can't do is not try to lessen the number of deaths. Washing their hands of this virus and willingly allowing many to die and to die in large numbers (not just of covid if the NHS becomes overwhelmed) as isn't a good look with future voters..

But it's not 8% is it. 600,000 is a years load. The vast majority of those 50,000 was March to June. 4 months.

50,000 excess against 200,000 is 25% But even then it was probably even higher over the worst two months.

Those deaths weren't evenly distributed over the entire nation. Local highs will have been much higher. That will cause local mortuaries to struggle even if there's space in Scotland or the Midlands.
