We have a couple of 3-arm ceiling lights downstars - one in the dining room and one in the living room.
The living room one hangs straight but the dining room one is on a tilt.
If I move the chain to the centre notch in the ring, the wiring takes all the weight, the chain is slack and the light still hangs crooked. I suspect the wire is too short and so the chain isn't doing much work.
If I look at the living room one, one of the links has been widened:
What's the best remedy? Should I try and lengthen the wiring? Should I try and widen the chain?
