Does anyone know what the VAT situation is up until 31/12/2020?
If I send an invoice to UK from EU, (or vice-versa) for goods already supplied, do I charge VAT?
If I receive an invoice from UK do I deduct the VAT?

In the event of a No Deal, it could be far worse than that. UK hauliers will not be allowed to work in EU unless they agree to EU working directives.
UK tourism will be equally affected.
French farmers will act in support of French fishermen. Their anger will be directed at UK government, not at French government. Support for Macron will increase, and similarly decrease for Marine Le Pen.
Both French farmers and French fishermen are fully supportive of EU.

True, as it stands now. But UK government can choose to set any or all tariffs at a new level whenever they choose. That will of course apply across the board, irrespective of the country of origin.
But it could and probably would mean that goods originating from far away places may be cheaper than EU exports due to the low regulation regime practised in these far away places.

surely its the same as existing until 31st Dec
although currently there is no provision to reclaim VAT paid on any invoice from an import after 31 Mar 2021
next year.....good luck with it.....exporting to EU means you can zero rate the invoice but the importer will have to pay the import VAT and possibly duty.....however some dont want to act as the importer

the EU is the UK largest trade partner by a country mile -if you think its a done and dusted deal you are incredibly naive
UK EU negotiations will go on for a decade.....and the UK will rebuild a closer relationship with the EU
