Hi
I Have 16 50 amp down lights on one switch and 9 50 amp down lights wired to the same location and 6 light sockets also to the same location.

I would like to have one 3 gang dimmer switch. The local shop told me the max I could fit on one is two but I reckon that there are excellent dimmer modules which I can fix behind a blank front.

Has anyone any ideas or suggestions. I have not located a supply as yet.

Thanks
Mark

do you mean 50watt downlights?

douubt youll get them all on one plate,

are the other light sockets 50w downlighters too? If they are that nearly 7 amps, if they are normal pendants (100watt each) then thats about 8amp. Is your lighting circuit rated sufficiently?

16no. 50 amp downlights?

You're going to need quite a big dimmer for that.

Not sure how you'll fit this behind a blank plate?

240mm cable can be a bit awkward in plateswitches too. Might have to use 47mm backboxes.
