disapearing wildlife ??

TBH, what would be the problem to us if all these vague, never seen creatures all suddenly disappeared?

The planet is crowded enough as it is. Make room for the humans

Can't work out if this is a serious question or not?

But, it would have serious consequences for mankind if this happened

its a very serious qestion, ive semble beesoney bee all year and thosands of ben one h

oh this effing keyboard

edit

ive seen one honey bee, thousands of bumble bees and no ants at all.

was it eistein who was wrongly quoted as "if the bees disapear then humans have three years"

Most people think these little monsters are just a pain but every insect has its useful place. The only one that is not beneficial to the planet is Man and boy does he know it now!
A huge amount of plants we eat are pollinated by wild honey bees. I don't think insects are "cute" or anything else, just very useful.

Still get plenty of little critters (and big ones) in Cumbria!

Particular variants of species may have uses, but are not so inter-related that if one dies off, then the whole planet grinds to a halt.

There are many obscure creatures that we never see and have no practical benefit to the world, but as soon as we here "extinction" then it becomes a necessity for some charity or other to help them survive.

name them then.

i have to say that as i spend alll my time working outside, ive not noticed any decline this year. in fact ive noticed a lot of sparrows, which were lacking in numbers a few years ago, so something must be changing.

Oh and sodding shedloads of bloody caterpillars on my cabbages!

Squirrels are taking over. I always remember them being pretty rare when i was a kid.

Cute though :D
