Bought house. Decided to re-instate the main entrance corridor to recreate a separate front room.
Put up the studding and electrics with two way between hall and back room.
Wisely checked the operation of the 2 way before finally boarding the stud partition. Nothing worked so I checked the wiring back to the meter - all ok. checked the wiring under the upstairs floor - all ok.
Went out for lunch and came back to find the light switch was working.
Then I realised --- I'd spent half the morning looking at the wrong light bulb

Just like in "Only Fools" with the chandelier.
Were it not for spell check I would have had to say light fitting.
