What sites do you use and why.
Because they sell want you want.
easy to use, find what you're looking for
simple check out.

What sites won't you use and why(not those ones )

I've spent so long looking at so called goods sites that are a pain to get through the check out(amazon) and give up.

I use different sites depending on what I want.

Its easier, cheaper and less hassle then going into town, especially this time of year. Dont know if that makes me lazy or sensible

I never shop on line, Mrs N does though.

Regards building materials, i prefer to use local builders merchants rather than that behemoth screw all the local builders merchants fix.

Just yesterday I bought £80 of gifts from gettingpersonal.com. Never used them before, but they have good feedback. Just recently, I have discovered the delights one can get from ebay. Obvious to look for feedback on ebay.

I hate "mastercard securecode" and "verified by visa" etc, I find it a PITA, because I can never remember the code I used, and they force you to use one with numbers and letters. Not had to do it lately though.

My advice, is go for it. You wont regret it. And if you like, get things delivered to work address, so you wont miss it.

Chain Reaction Cycles for cheap and quick bike bits. Wiggle for the same. Eblag for all kinds of stuff. Sainsos online for the weekly shop - costs £5 for the delivery but saves a fortune because you just buy what you really want and don't end up throwing away uneaten food at the end of the week. Also means you don't have to drive out, park, struggle around the shop and drive home again - bliss!

i use getting personal, iwoot, screwfix, motorcycle parts sites and more.all the ones mentioned i would recommend.

I live on a remote off shore island, I do ALL my shopping on-line, Amazon and ebay probably keeping our little post office open.

play.com and amazon for DVDs Blu-Rays etc. Both pretty good with delivery and saves me the ball ache of going to the shops. I also use mankind for shaving stuff, which I never see in the shops.

Snico, definitely makes you sensible

I buy every thing on line apart from food. The shops here rip you off or they never have what you want. I use Toolstation, Screwfix, and eBay most of the time.

Amazon's ok, some ebay shops are great some not so, check the feedback!

Don't ever use rocksolid kitchens/bathrooms or maple kitchens or any of their other AKAs. DODGY!

I use Amazon for books and Games. Lasky's and Dixons and sometimes Pixmania for electricals. Cornwall boats for my wooden modelling requirements - they are very good. Trainline for tickets.

I took advice from a relation and have a seperate Mint credit card and account and seperate e-mail for all my on-line buying. I get sick of all the junk emails I get from all the companies I buy from.

I agree with Steve that all the different layers of security are a pain but I was stung by an online fraud a couple of years ago and it took me months to sort that out so I don't mind it too much.

Never used E-Bay. Don't trust it.

We buy most things off the web from food shopping to cooker spares, amazon for the daughters books for college, bought a mp3 player off ebay no probs still working after 3 years.

Don't have anything to do with these sites so this isn't spam but I use one in conjunction with the other
Hot deals.com
Quidco.com
Or cashback kings.com
Basically see something on hot deals go onto your quidco/hot deals account order and get cash back.
Quid co do charge a £5 a year but it is taken out of your earnings once you've got a fiver cash back.
So far since May I've earned about £300 which was paid today nice little bonus for crimbo.

I also use quidco, £45 pound back on car insurance £100 on house and contents, can take up to three months but patience is a virtue.
