Hi guys, I’m a gas safe registered plumber, I also do minor electrical work.

Thinking about diversifying into air conditioning.

Can anyone tell me which level of F Gas training I’ll need and what additional tools and equipment I’ll need over and above those normally carried by a plumber/electrican?

Thanks!

I think you would be better looking for a job working for air-conditioning company.
They are actively looking for people and money is good.
They employ people and use sub contractor's.
When you get training and experience opportunities will come your way.
I was talking to a contractor who was self employed and he was telling me about an offer he had from the company he was contracting to.
CCTV and security systems.
Lift engineer.
Air conditioning.
All good things to look at so your idea to get trained is a good one.
I'm more talking about domestic and commercial air conditioning. Commercial air conditioning is where the money is I think.

Not sure I've helped but thought id give you my opinion and bump post
