Downward Fan Outlet

Hi,

I will be fitting a shower inline fan,
I live in a dormer style house this makes it hard to place the fan outlet through a wall. Can I place the outlet in the eves facing down towards the ground?

I think you mean venting through a hole cut in the soffit board. If so, that's OK, but make sure it's well clear of any flue outlets.
