Driveway - Dropping of the frontage/curb

isnt there and dodgy builder that could do it in the night,,?
Joking aside, dodgy builders, diy and lumps of wood do not constitute a legally recognised dropped kerb therefore you wont have a driveway which can be legally accessed over a public footpath.
