Can anyone suggest a decent dummy sounder/bell box. Ideally with some sort of comfort LED's.

Choose any you like, but make sure that it is made by a company that do manufacture working alarms so that it looks the same as a genuine one. These companies also supply LED modules to make them look authentic. An example can be found here. You will also need a 12v dc power supply to operate them. Preferably one with battery back up to keep them going in the event of a power cut for real authenticity.
Having the name of a genuine alarm installer on it would also be advantageous, but a little more difficult to obtain.
