Dunblane denial

I'd rather live in a society where guns are restricted than in a society where innocent people are 'punished' by having their lives taken by legally held weapons!
I 100% agree.

Ok, the States has a completely different history when it comes to guns, so you can understand the reluctance by many of them to change. However I can think of nothing worse than having more guns around in the UK. When you think about things like neighbour disputes, road rage incidents etc, there would be many more deaths if guns were in the equation.

He would no doubt support the UK becoming like the States, guns here there everywhere.

Oh look - another devotee of the "let's polarise everything" method of discussion.

The alternative to our gun laws is not a USA-style free-for-all.

Loosening some restrictions does not mean removing all of them.

Thomas Hamilton owned the guns he did not because the regulations were inadequate but because they were not properly administered.

But with 'legal' guns now not available, there is no problem with maladministration...

I know which era I would rather live in ;)
