Earth bonding...........how much :shock:

just wanted to up date this and thank you for your replies.

after discussions with the builder and him to electricians the price has dropped to £200, but they did add that other bonding was done ie all the new water pipes and ch pipes.
Sorry, i feel i missled you now with my post as i did not realise what had been done, but getting a reduction was good.

Have they done supplementary bonding in the kitchen?

If so, ask for a further discount, as this is no longer required under the 16th or 17th.

I would think the earth tail hanging is ready for the DNO to connect, and there is actually other main eq bonding cables already installed and connected to gas/water and any other service required.

The price may possibly also include supp bonding? And how about the consumer unit - Is that being changed as part of the job?
