Easy Fill

Had a couple of chaps on site today who were doing some joints over scrim on plasterboard. They added washing up liquid to easy fill, claimed it made it much, much smoother and eliminated pin-holes.

Anyone else heard of this?

I don't get pin holes with easi-fill.

Hands that do plastering can be soft as your face, with mild green, fairy liquid.

Judicious use of liquid detergent might get British Gypsum in a lather - what`s the chemicals gunna do to the easyfil ?

Cresta. Christ that stuff was addictive!! Loaded with E numbers, chemicals and sugar no doubt - but tasted great and made you want to keep drinking it. Unfortunately, long gone - but if they still sold it I would still be tempted.

Two cans of Cresta, a Mint Cracknell and half a pack of Spangles would give you a sugar rush that you wouldn't come down from for a week.
