I'm aiming to fit an electric radiator/towel rail in an en-suite bathroom but am not sure about how I should control it.
It's far too much effort to switch it via the combi boiler's timer so I guess I need a separate switch/timer.
What's the recommended way of controlling this kind of appliance - basic on/off switch, pull switch, timer, something else ?

Dimplex make a rotary control for their towel rails, but you need to mount in outside the zones.

I have a summer element in my towel rail.

I have it controlled by a basic single channel CH programmer, mounted in the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom.

This allows us to program different times for weekdays / weekends, which you can't do with most basic mechanical time switches.
