HELP !! I’m looking for an electrical fitting and I don’t even know what it’s called. I’ve seen a type of socket holder (backbox) that sits on a desktop or floor and holds the socket at a 45 degree angle.

The wiremen used to use them where I worked and I’ve seen them in shop window displays.

Anyone know what their called and where I can get them from ?

Many thanks - IFH

Thanks to all for the advice and help. Sorry I didn’t answer sooner but I’ve been having a few problems with emails recently (They’ve stopped working twice !) and the application I need the sockets for has taken a back seat.

Anyway, thanks again and, Nick, thanks for the offer but I should be alright now.

All the best - IFH
