when installing emergency lights to an existing lighting. do you have to put it on a rcd

Would the new cables be buried in a wall less than 50 mm deep?

Would any work be done in a bathroom?
 
I assume this work is in a commercial property?

What makes you think you would need them to be RCD protected?

its in a shop because its a new addition on the lighting circuit you might have to put the circuit on a rcd rcbo
