“EU corruption” is a meaningless term - every large organisation has corruption, what counts is comparison and context.

The EU is institutionally corrupt.
It isn't just a case of a few bad apples.
Remember how they cooked the books to allow Greece to join the EU.

“Over many decades, the Parliament has allowed a culture of impunity to develop, with a combination of lax financial rules and controls and a complete lack of independent (or indeed any) ethics oversight,” its director, Michiel van Hulten, said.

Report suggests that the Russian government have sunk over 400 million quid into bribes / influence / brown envelopes to EU individuals
