Eu scared stiff by Boris !

Of course what quitters don't understand is that we will all have to eventually pay when a currency is devalued by printing money

The Euro has been shored up by massive QE, which is likely to carry on this year to try and stave off recession.

You obviously disagree with that?

Most countries have been using QE...

The ECB has actually ended it's action in that respect.

And as a country percentage, the UK has used more QE to prop up our economy than the EU has.
(£450bn in the UK as opposed to £1400bn in the EU as a whole)

And in any case if the EU has to start printing money again, then it is no different from the UK having to do so because of Brexit!

€2500bn to be accurate, approx £2250bn by current exchange rates, if the beeb is to be believed.
Many here don't believe a word the BBC utter apparently ;)

But if you want to go by current exchange rates as opposed to when QE happened, then so be it...

However the ratio is pretty much the same, and thus the UK has pumped more money in than the EU as a whole by whatever means you wish to judge it....

They talking about having to start it again.

Worries about Eurozone recession.
What's the betting that the UK will have to do the same because of a brexit recession

So blinkered and naive :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

As much as I hate agreeing with Ellal, he is right.

The EU would probably negotiate on freedom of movement, even if we stayed in that would be up for discussion.

The EU cant do anything about the Irish border though - they have to protect the singke market.

Negotiation is great. I have no problem with freedom of movement, if its controlled.
No criminals. Skilled workers doing what they are good at.

Example:
Fruit pickers, pick fruit. They don't turn their hand to plumbing in the winter when there is no fruit to pick.

Typical RWR free marketer like yourself who cries about over regulation wants regulation when it comes to your own industry.

Cognitive dissonance.

The Irish lobby in the USA is very influential, and there will be no UK/US deal if we attempt to overrride Ireland's interests.

Ireland is also a member of the EU, so of course the EU is determined to protect its member's interests.

If the UK remained a member, the EU would be determined to protect ours, but we decided to throw that away.

You honestly think it a bad thing stooping criminals and cowboys plying their trade?
