Hi

Was wondering how much I'd be charged for the following to be completed.

Ground work & foundation
Floor
Bricked to roof level
Single story?

Also how much is planning building?

Building work for extensions prices in at around £1300 per metre. If you want to break it down and have it priced in sections then you need to be specific about cut off points and content.

A 4m x 4m extension complete, (building work only to plastered finish, windows in, skirts door archies and window boards fitted) would typically cost £20k or so. If you want it broken down into sections, it will inevitably cost more. Trades are aware that customers will cherry pick the profitable parts of an extension away from a builder and price accordingly.

You would need to add plumbing (heating), electrics and décor (tiles, carpets, laminate, shelves, fixtures, bathrooms, kitchens etc) to that (20k)cost.

The admin side of a job i.e. planning fees, BC fees and architects fees are upwards of £3k.

So how much approx for just walls upto roof level on single story no piping electrics windows doors roof plastering etc.
From brick work i have people that can do the remaining parts of the job

You need a brickie to come and price it. They will look at the type of brick, any brick detailing above or below the windows and cut gable or dentil work. The type of block and method of cavity insulation will also have a bearing on cost.
