eye level gas cookers ??????

Hello

can anyone please help us we live in rural France (a long story) and we need an eye level gas cooker (as plentiful as hens teeth over here no eye level cookers at all)

wanted a 60cm wide one have tried but have given up anyone any ideas what brand of cooker is suitable for conversion

we would be most obliged for any help

Eye level gas cooker?? Never seen or heard of one.

Do you mean a freestanding cooker with eye level grill? Or a stand alone eye level salamander grill?

Why not build a box to stand one on at the height you require

dont remember seeing 60CM wide ones they are usually 50CM some are 55CM, when you say suitable for conversion do you mean to LPG ?

There was a Cannon 152 cooker with an eye level grill.

The grill was also sold on its own.

There is nothing on the market any more to do this job.

Consequently although the cookers are now 40 years old they have become collector's items and sell for more than the whole cooker cost when it was new!
