A hard border. Which will be Bozzas doing. Bozza has already admitted that it is the UK that needs to sort the border issue. He said it to millions whilst stood next to Merkel only a week or so ago.

So the ROI would implement a hard border? It's an honest question, no goading intended.

"The backstop has always been a fall-back option until this issue is solved," she said.

"It was said we will probably find a solution in two years. But we could also find one in the next 30 days, why not?"

Mr Johnson replied: "You rightly say the onus is on us to produce those solutions, those ideas and that is what we want to do.

"You have set a very blistering timetable of 30 days - if I understood you correctly, I am more than happy with that," he added.

He added that alternatives to the backstop had not been "actively proposed" under his predecessor Theresa May - but he was pressed by Mrs Merkel to spell out what such alternatives might look like.

But what happens if, as is almost certainly the case, he doesn't? What would happen?

Filly seems to think he has found a solution. It has taken him a matter of minutes whilst Bozzas still fumbling about.

However, folks in the real world don't think there is a workable solution presently, no.

That's true, but doesn't answer the question, what would happen?

I don't think I've found a solution at all (if indeed a solution is required in the first place), I simply corrected ellal on his assertion that a hard border is in breach of the good Friday agreement, it's not.
