Was yesterday "Nod off in the middle lane of the M6" day?

No.... that was Tuesday........driving home from Birmingham Airport.

Dimwit 1 in middle lane doing about 40 MPH queue behind and fast traffic in lane 3.

Dimwit 2 behind Dimwit 1 decides to under take him. At the same time driver Car 3 behind Dimwit 2 sees a gap in lane 3 traffic and does a safe over take of Dimwit 1 and moves quickly back into lane 2 to leave lane 3 clear for approaching fast traffic.

Dimwit 2 having under taken Dimwit 1, is now closing on a slow moving HGV so moves out of lane 1 and back into lane 2 just as Car 3 is moving back into lane 2. Near miss. Dimwit 2 appears oblivious to this as there is no brake light indication even though two cars ahead of him ( or her ) are taking evasive action to avoid hitting each other.
