Firefox is dead, long live Internet Explorer!

I reckon FF has slowed down too as the years have gone by and various upgrades and improvements implemented. Even installing completely from scratch (all user data deleted), it still seems not to be the fast lightweight software it once was.

Someone I work with has recommended Opera as an alternative - it now comes without ads and does email...

My, my, my...

IE 8 is very good. But being that it is Microsoft the bad hackers (yes there are good ones too) will continue to seek to exploit all the vulnerabilities of IE. Security always seems an issue for Microsoft products - partly because of who they are.

FFox - great browser - some issues but very easy to optimze if you enter "about:config" in the url - but be careful.

Have you considerd the tiny little browser of "The world Browser" ? Based on IE but not exploited by the not so nice hackers.

I also use "lunascape" browser - very fast and not attacked by any one.
