Firework season - is there one?

Be glad you live in Liverpool! Think of those who are in bradford! no 11pm cutoff, but up to 2am any day of the year..

Is there no end to the enrichment?

The obvious answer is for a ban on fireworks that make anything more than a minimal noise. Will stop the anti social scuzzers/ethnics using ones that sound like thunder flashes and lessen their interest if the fireworks only give you an attractive display. Or is this too obvious?

Not saying it's right or wrong, however I suspect in the coming years most fireworks as we know them today will be banned from public sale. I know that many people with pets or those who run animal sanctuary's etc say it can be a nightmare few days for the animals.

When I was a kid in The 70s there used to be public info films on tv advising you to keep your pets indoors for 5th Nov. What's the point now when firework 'night' begins in early Oct and ends a week after the actual day?

Where we are at the moment, out in the wilds, fields surrounded by horses, and sheep - just across the valley, is a holiday village. Lots of static caravans, pub restaurant, sort of thing. Each, and every evening, the owners sett off a barrage of commercial grade fireworks.

Fireworks add £2 Billion to UK economy.
Thousands of businesses are supported by the manufacture and sale of fireworks.

But your concern is the use of fireworks by 'foreigners', who you find repulsive.
"Scuzzer" can also be used as a derogatory term in slang, derived from the word scuzzy, meaning dirty, squalid, or repulsive.
