locate the wall studs and fasten to those. You can fasten one or two sturdy battens across the wall fixed to the studs if you want and fix the cabinets on the battens
If you are using those adjustable wall-hanger brackets that hang on a piece of steel screwed to the wall (which I would recommend)
you will be pleased to know that you can buy the wall-rail in 2500mm lengths (which I also recommend). It is quite pricy and I have only seen it at Woodfit but it means you can fasten the rail and then position your cabs anywhere along it, and re-position them at whim.
