Flat roof quote

Hi,

I have been given GRP roof quote back in July. I have contacted the guy again and he said the insulation price has recently gone up by 20%! so I have to charge you more on insulation.

Is this normal?

Prices have went up a fair bit because a lot of suppliers are running out of materials due to COVID.

Likely he was 20% under on his quote.

It's the same price at my merchants as it has been all year.

Whats 20% on a few boards/packs anyway - £5 per board/pack ?

He obviously feels he can not carry the increase/error .

Our suppliers usually do give a bit of notice of looming price increases though.

I guess its up to you, not happy vote with your feet
